Many residents at Luso Care Centre require a higher level of clinical support due to complex health needs or long-term medical conditions. Our registered nursing team provides round-the-clock care for individuals who need ongoing medical monitoring, medication management and skilled nursing interventions.

This may include support for advanced frailty, multiple health conditions, reduced mobility or recovery following illness or injury. Our nurses work closely with external healthcare professionals to ensure that each resident receives coordinated care that prioritises comfort, safety and stability.

Care plans are reviewed regularly to ensure they reflect current health needs and personal goals, helping residents maintain the best possible quality of life.

Luso Care Centre provides specialist dementia care for people living with memory loss and cognitive changes, including those experiencing behavioural or psychological symptoms associated with dementia. Our team understands that dementia affects every person differently, which is why care plans are built around the individual’s life story, preferences and familiar routines.

Structured daily rhythms, calm surroundings and consistent staffing help reduce anxiety and create a sense of familiarity. Staff are trained to support communication, orientation and emotional wellbeing, helping residents feel safe and understood while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Activities, social interaction and sensory experiences are tailored to individual abilities, allowing residents to stay engaged with the things that bring them comfort and enjoyment.

We also provide specialist care for adults living with complex or enduring mental health conditions. Residents may require structured support, emotional reassurance and skilled care to help manage behaviours, symptoms and the impact of long-term mental health challenges.
